- thankful we still have the right to bear arms, especially today when we had to kill a snake with the shotgun - thankful that we do not live under a dictatorship and that our government still allows us to choose who we worship - thankful we have a military that is voluntary and those that serve do so because they choose to, and so many give their lives for my freedom

2. God puts leaders in power and He removes them. He is over all.
3. I am thankful for the men and women in government, big or small, that stand firm on godly principles regardless of the personal cost.
