  1. The game changer...Luke 2:7... And she gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Obedience...Luke 2:15...15 When the angels had gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds began saying to one another, “Let us go straight to Bethlehem then, and see this thing that has happened which the Lord has made known to us.”

Pondering...Luke 2:19...19 But Mary treasured all these things, pondering them in her heart.

Glory to God in the Highest!

  2. -from the Peanut special, my favorite reading of Luke 2:
"'8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10And the angel said unto them, Fear not; for, behold, I bring you tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you: Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace and goodwill towards men.'"
"...That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown."

    - Christmas is simple, it is a birthday celebration, not all the hoopla we make it out to be

    - 19 But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart.
(so glad to be a mom and know the feeling in my heart of when a child is born, can't imagine what she was feeling)
