3 gifts understated

3 comments:

  1. - simple conversation instead of a crowded room of excitement is the best way to get to know some folks i've learned
    - basic good food, no award winning delicacy, is all we really need, and though it's ok to enjoy cooking and feeding my family, i've had to readjust my goal from creative and different, to practical and just healthy and filling. it's a good thing, but hard for someone who likes food too much.
    - the fresh-faced beauty in my kids, with no cosmetic or other improvement. i love seeing their smiles and clear eyes and joyful lives without any pretense or mask.

  2. 598. Realness (just made that word up)- how I treasure the friendships I have that are genuine, honest, and just real.

    599. Living an intentional life- not one overflowing with business, but instead one directed by the Spirit. I long for that to be a daily occurrence in my life.

    600. The beauty of the sunrise and sunset. They pass so quickly each day, but are fantastic in their majesty.

  3. Presented or expressed in a subtle and effective way.

    - our lifestyle, I don't think anything about us is flashy or crazy, and I like that

    - the way I dress, I use to like to be flashy and try to stand out in a crowd, but not any more. I like plain, casual, everyday stuff to wear.

    - the wind, I love to see the trees moving in the wind
