- parenting: so very hard as we strive to lead our kids to follow Christ's example, to be decent humans, and grow together as siblings and friends
- homeschooling: takes ultimate selflessness as i get the privilege of spending lots of time with my kids, which also means little alone time, but truly is a blessing i don't want to change.
- marriage is the best example of God's unconditional love to me on a daily basis. it still takes work and communication, and after 17 years, you'd think we'd have it all perfect. not quite, but pretty amazing to struggle through with my best friend who doesn't ever give up on me and my goofy, grouchy, selfishness.
Starting some new things- it's a little overwhelming at first, but thankful for the opportunities.
Navigating teenage years- I love watching Grant grow, but it's hard sometimes to know what to say or not say, what to help with and what to let him do on his own. It keeps us praying and stretching.
Training for the mud run. Sounds silly, but it's the biggest physical challenge I've ever done. Usually I don't shy away from trying new things like this, but I am a little nervous about this one. Working on training faithfully, even when that means running at 9:30 at night. Good, but hard.

- moving, so hard to make new friends, but a gift for the kids to be closer to the grandparents
ReplyDelete- parenting, love them, but they can really drive me crazy, but couldn't imagine life without them
- evenings, I am so tired and having nothing left to give, but that always seems to be when the girls want a little snuggle time with me
