This was difficult. I don't necessarily want these gifts, but am grateful for what they're producing in me, which I'm apparently hard-headed enough to not learn any other way! - trials producing the gift of patience ("...knowing that the testing of your faith produces perseverance," James 1:3) - struggles with infertility that led to our adoption of our oldest, and then the miracles of the births of our other three children - undiagnosed physical pain, which causes greater clinging to Him, in light of no other relief
(being completely honest here) on some days it is hard to be thankful for the blessings of being a stay at home mom, homeschooling my kids, having a husband who works from home
I've decided to keep these three in the journal. :)
