Three ugly-beautiful gifts.

4 comments:

  1. 1. My sin- His grace

    2. My wandering heart- His perfect faithfulness.

    3. My selfishness- His forgiveness.

Can't stop thinking/singing this one today...So thankful for this truth.

    My Hope is You
    Aaron Shust

I meet with You and my soul sings out
As your word throws doubt far away
I sing to You and my heart cries
    "Holy! Hallelujah, Father, You're near!"

My hope is in You, Lord
All the day long, I won't be shaken by drought or storm
A peace that passes understanding is my song
And I sing my hope is in You, Lord

I wait for You and my soul finds rest
In my selfishness, You show me grace
I worship You and my heart cries "Glory
    Hallelujah, Father, You're here!"

My hope is in You, Lord
All the day long I won't be shaken by drought or storm
A peace that passes understanding is my song
And I sing my hope is in You, Lord

    I will wait on You
    You are my refuge
    I will wait on You
    You are my refuge

My hope is in You, Lord, all the day long
I won't be shaken by drought or storm
My hope is in You, Lord
All the day long I won't be shaken by drought or storm

A peace that passes understanding is my song
And I sing my hope is in You, Lord
My hope is in You, Lord, yeah
My hope is in You, Lord

  2. - scars and stretch marks from having the blessing of birthing my kids
    - tears that mean God is pruning and working on me
    - messiness all around because my house and heart are full

  3. - (copying jennifer, cause it is perfect) stretch marks or as I call them, battle scars
    - scar from my surgery in 2007 that really showed me who is really in control
    - disciplining children and then the moments you see they learned from it
