  1. Stitched- a wedding gift from my mom.

Hammered- the frame Todd made to go around our bathroom mirror. It changed the whole look in that room.

    Woven- my favorite sweater.

  2. Stitched - a piece I cross-stitched for my grandmother when I was in jr. high. It hung on her wall in the main room for years. After she passed I asked for it back and it now hangs in my bedroom. It's old and stained but it reminds me of her.

Hammered - the hours of work that Ryan put into homemade, forged gifts for Christmas. He worked really hard and he loved every minute. I'm always so impressed by the way his curiosity gets him going. He carries things out all the way!

Woven - thinking about the impact of so many on my life over the years. People who were "one-hit-wonders" for me or those that have been by me through the details. Makes me who I am and my tapestry unique

  3. Stitched - A framed piece of needle point that my Meme made many years ago. She willed it to me when she died because she knew how much I love it.

Hammered - The playroom in our basement. Jere, my dad and my step-dad spent many hours finishing off the basement together.

Woven - The Freeset woven bag that I "stole" from our Community Group Dirty Santa party. Thankful for friends to celebrate with but even more so for the freedom the women who made them have found from slavery and the chance they have to make a living for themselves and their families.
