Three graces found in friends...

6 comments:

  1. 3 graces found in friends:
    - the rare few who accept me as I am and don't want me to be like them.
    - the surprising emails or texts that they've thought of or prayed for me is an amazing gift of encouragement.
    - the reminders of His truth when it's hard for me to remember, shared by those who know the truly best way to love anyone is to point them to Jesus

  2. 1. For those who are willing to be open and vulnerable
    2. For those who are patient with my crazy
    3. For those who love with their time, words and prayers

    I like Jennifer's too. :)

  3. (only THREE?? Which graces do I pick?)

Dear friends that constantly point me to Christ.

Friends that have walked through my unworthiest of moments and still want to be my friend and have me around.

Soul sisters. Friends that I haven't talked to in weeks, months or maybe even years and we can just pick right up and keep going as if we see each other every day. They're just never far away.

  4. It's been hard to narrow it down to three, but I'll try...

    The grace of...

    1. Being known- really known-good, bad, ugly- and loved anyway.

    2. Trust- being able to share a hope, dream, thought, idea, or prayer request and know that the information will be guarded, prayed over, cared for, valued, or kept carefully, whatever the case maybe.

    3. Laughter- the tears rolling down the face, silly, snorting kind of laughter, the kind that makes memories that last a really long time.

  5. I shouldn't be the last to do these. I want to say... all of the above!! I'm going to just list the first things that came to mind first even if they are repeats.

    1. Those who accept me and love me even with all of my "stuff".

    2. Having friends I can laugh and cry with while truly living life together.

    3. The fact that we do think of, pray for, and encourage each other. Whether through God's prompting or just knowing each other so well, the texts, emails, phone calls, hugs all seem to come at the right time.
